Software Engineering Team Lead

Via, a company focused on transforming transportation, is seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to guide the development and evolution of their core routing engine. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement algorithms that solve complex optimization problems, ensuring the engine's performance at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Backend engineers.
• Work closely with Product & Algo teams to design and refine routing algorithms.
• Develop, own, and execute the team's roadmap.
• Oversee project objectives to enhance and support the overall product strategy.
• Manage, coach, and foster the growth of the engineering team.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 6+ years of experience with BE software development (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong background in algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
• Experience with routing, pathfinding, and optimization algorithms.
• BSc. in Computer Science / Math or equivalent - Must
