Corporate Engineering Principal

Via, a company focused on transforming transportation through technology, is seeking a Corporate Engineering Principal. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining internal systems and tools that power corporate operations. The position reports to the strategic finance team and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that enhance internal workflows and data integrations. The Corporate Engineering Principal will also explore and implement AI capabilities to streamline corporate processes and improve organizational efficiency. This role is based in NYC, with a hybrid in-office schedule.

What this role involves:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining internal corporate engineering systems.
• Collaborating with Finance, Data Science, People, and Operations teams.
• Leading the architecture and implementation of internal applications.
• Creating reliable and scalable systems and solutions.
• Monitoring process outputs and ensuring data reliability and accuracy.
• Incorporating AI and machine learning capabilities into workflows.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering, corporate engineering, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Expertise in designing and managing scalable data pipelines and system integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases, ETL processes, and data transformation tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree and a record of exceptional academic achievement.
