Job Description
Via, a company focused on transforming transportation through technology, is seeking a Strategy & Operations Principal to join their City Performance team. This role involves leading projects that directly impact Via’s operations, setting strategy, and owning outcomes in areas like financial and operational analyses, process improvement, and new product development. The Strategy & Operations Principal will collaborate with external partners and internal teams, including financial analysts, product experts, engineers, and data scientists.

What this role involves:
  • Owning operations & financial targets and developing strategies to achieve them.
  • Analyzing data to inform operational strategies and report on performance.
  • Contributing to product development to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with executive leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ideating and executing proposals to maximize the efficiency of Via’s products and services.
  • Leading new product feature roll-outs and analysis.
  • Developing new and working with existing external partnerships.

Requirements:
  • Highly analytical and a good communicator.
  • Able to own large, complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end.
  • Collaborative and able to generate buy-in.
  • Comfortable with analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python).
  • Skilled in marking arguments supported by data.
  • Excited to mentor and manage Associate and Associate Principal team members.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of work experience.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • MBA is a plus.
