Field Logistics Manager

Job Description

Via is seeking a Field Logistics Manager to join their Transit-as-a-Service (TaaS) Operations team. In this role, the Field Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing logistics for field operations teams using Via's technology platform. They will manage day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement and efficiency.Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating, tracking, and prioritizing different aspects of operations with partners, vendors, and local teams
• Communicating real-time status updates and providing visibility into key performance indicators to internal and external stakeholders
• Building strong working relationships with partners, vendors, and other stakeholders
• Developing scalable processes and tools for increasing operating efficiency and performance
• Analyzing data and owning reports to provide insights on operational performance
• Traveling to local and regional operations throughout the US

Requirements include:

• Self-starter who is proactive and comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
• Strong project manager eager to create and refine operational processes
• Outgoing and sociable leader; skilled at communicating professionally with partners, vendors, and partners from a broad range of backgrounds
• Comfortable prioritizing and working on multiple initiatives with various stakeholders
• Team player who is willing to wear multiple hats to contribute and take initiative on projects
• Hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
