Job Description
Via is seeking a Field Operations Manager to oversee operations in Southern Connecticut (Stamford, New Haven, Norwalk). This role is within Via's Transit-as-a-Service (TaaS) Operations team, where the manager will use Via's technology platform to manage daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and foster growth. This is an in-person position, requiring the candidate to be onsite 4-5 days a week.

What this role involves:
  • Ensuring operational excellence and customer experience
  • Overseeing operations in person, with possible early mornings or evenings
  • Managing driver supply to meet demand
  • Prioritizing operational issues and implementing creative solutions
  • Responding to driver feedback and customer issues
  • Collaborating with a team to scale operational processes
  • Analyzing metrics/KPIs to optimize operations

Requirements:
  • Socially perceptive and environmentally conscious
  • Self-starter with a high level of responsibility
  • Driven executor with a track record of hitting KPIs and revenue goals
  • Team-focused individual
  • Experienced in project management, operational processes, and customer service
  • Multi-site management experience is a plus
  • Outgoing and sociable leader with professional communication skills
  • Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
  • Experienced in managing a team is a plus
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to change
  • Experienced in managing projects with multiple stakeholders is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus
