Job Description
Via is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to spearhead commercial endeavors for strategic public transport accounts. This role involves constructing an inclusive, sustainable, and tech-enabled framework for mobility within the designated market. The Director will be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating new business, and managing all facets of the sales and account cycle, from initial contact to closing and upsell. This is a quota-carrying position. The role is also published as Commercial Director.
What This Role Involves: - Building and leading a high-performing sales and account management team.
- Strategizing and executing full-cycle sales efforts to improve regional transit.
- Becoming an expert on Via’s platform and showcasing its features.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operations and offerings.
- Representing Via in the region through public speaking and press engagement.
- Identifying and cultivating revenue-generating partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements: - 6–10 years of client-facing experience in Business Development, Consulting, or a similar field.
- Intuitive communication skills.
- Superb commercial intuition and exceptional judgment.
- A reliable, motivated self-starter with a growth mentality.
- Excellent team player.
- Willingness to travel 25-50% as needed.
- Proficiency in both German (native-level) and English (fluent).
