Job Description

Via is seeking a Strategic Business Development Principal to lead regional sales efforts across the public and private sectors in the Central US. The role focuses on building relationships with prospective partners, driving revenue, and improving transit in the region.

The Strategic Business Development Principal will:

  • Identify prospective partners and build revenue-generating relationships.
  • Lead full-cycle sales efforts to improve transit in the region.
  • Navigate the market, using research and analytical skills to build data-driven business cases.
  • Educate and consult with clients to develop transit plans and find funding.
  • Represent Via at conferences and provide thought leadership.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 8+ years of client-facing experience in sales, business development, or consulting.
  • Experience in consultative sales processes and using data to build narratives.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial intuition and judgment.
  • Self-motivation and a growth mentality.
  • Team player skills.
