Job Description
Via, a company focused on transforming transportation through technology, is seeking an Algo/ML Product Analyst to join its R&D center in Tel Aviv. This role involves being part of the Algo-Routing product team, contributing to research, providing data insights, and optimizing the product and user experience. The Algo Product Analyst will collaborate with data scientists, algorithm developers, product managers, and business teams. This person will be a highly autonomous and valued member of the product team, tackling complex problems using data and understanding user needs.

What this role involves:
  • Developing next-generation algorithms to solve transit problems.
  • Analyzing product algorithmic behavior and performance data.
  • Becoming the focal point for all data-related matters.
  • Discovering product insights and driving data-driven product priorities.
  • Taking full data ownership for existing and new features.
  • Creating, supporting, and maintaining reports and dashboards.
  • Initiating, owning, and managing multiple data projects.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a product analyst in a data-driven environment.
  • Strong orientation to algorithms, mathematics, statistics, or ML.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Ability to develop KPIs to support product decisions.
  • Exceptional ability to understand complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills (fluency in English is needed).
  • Fast learner with the ability to multitask.
  • B.Sc. in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
