Job Description
DataCamp is seeking a Data Science Evangelist to contribute to the company's growth. This role involves marketing, teaching, and thought leadership. The Data Science Evangelist will collaborate with marketers, data evangelists, SEO experts, and the DataCamp team to create content for learners, data practitioners, and data leaders. This is an individual contributor role.
Role involves:
- Working with external stakeholders on webinars, code-alongs, and podcasts
- Building and maintaining weekly webinars and code-alongs
- Creating thought leadership reports and white papers
- Managing speakers and editorial direction for DataCamp Radar
- Creating blog posts, tutorials, and cheat sheets on data and AI
- Co-hosting the DataFramed podcast
- Representing DataCamp at industry conferences
Requirements:
- Advanced programming skills in Python or R
- Deep knowledge in data science, analytics, business intelligence, and/or AI
- An extraverted personality with a passion for public speaking, podcasting, and writing
- High degrees of urgency & organizational skills
- High degrees of relationship management skills
