Job Description

NEORIS, a Digital Accelerator, is seeking a Data Architect to join their team in Quito, Ecuador. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust AI solutions, applying development best practices, and ensuring timely deliveries.

The role involves:

• Analyzing technical requirements from functional designs.
• Participating in the design of data engineering solutions aligned with the Data Architecture vision.
• Designing and deploying data products observing standards, corporate tools, and best practices.
• Applying testing strategies to validate correct implementation.
• Supervising and optimizing the performance, reliability, and security of AI systems.
• Identifying and evaluating AI use cases that generate value for the organization or the client.
• Defining strategy, requirements, workflows, and tools needed for the development and implementation of AI solutions.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, scalability, and integration of solutions.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in AI and Big Data solutions.
• Solid knowledge in data science, machine learning, programming, infrastructure, security, and enterprise architecture.
• Relational (Oracle, SQL, Postgres) and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud technologies oriented to Big Data.
• Tools: Apache Spark, PySpark, Scala, Stratio (desirable).
• Knowledge in events, queues, streaming, natural language processing, images, videos, and LLMs.
• Management of DataProducts and design patterns.
