NEORIS, now part of EPAM, is seeking a Java Semisenior Developer to join their team in Quito, Ecuador. The Java Semisenior Developer will be responsible for developing digital products using best engineering practices and quality standards. They will promote clean code development, propose technical alternatives, and prepare technical documentation. The role also involves supporting the architect in translating functional needs and suggesting process improvements.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing digital products with best practices.
• Promoting clean code and standardization.
• Proposing innovative technical solutions.
• Preparing technical documentation.
• Supporting the architect in translating functional needs.
• Suggesting improvements to the development process.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Java software development experience (Java 8+).
• Experience developing microservices with Springboot.
• Strong understanding of TDD and BDD.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Experience with version control tools.
• Experience in software design and development following SOLID principles.
• Cloud knowledge is desirable.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Quito.
