Job Description

NEORIS, a digital accelerator with 20 years of experience, is seeking a Cloud AWS Engineer to join their team in Medellin. The ideal candidate will actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based solutions using AWS, manage and optimize AWS Organization governance, design and implement CI/CD pipelines, and develop infrastructure as code using Terraform. The Cloud AWS Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and secure solutions, document technical solutions, perform basic programming and automation in cloud environments, and provide support for continuous improvement of cloud and security practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in the implementation and maintenance of cloud solutions using AWS.
• Managing and optimizing AWS Organization governance.
• Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Documenting technical solutions.
• Performing basic programming and automation in cloud environments.
• Providing support for continuous improvement of cloud and security practices.

Requirements:

• Professional in Systems Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud environments, preferably with AWS.
• Deep knowledge of services and architecture in AWS.
• Experience in implementing DevSecOps practices (CI/CD).
• Experience in AWS Organization governance and SCPs administration.
• Knowledge in AWS security tools such as Security Hub, Config, among others.
• Mastery of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management.
• Basic programming knowledge for task and flow automation.
• Teamwork skills and effective communication.
• Desirable to have certifications in cloud, Cloud governance or related (eg AWS Solution Architect).
• Desirable to have related postgraduate studies.
