Job Description

NEORIS, a digital accelerator with 20 years of experience, is seeking an AWS Cloud Support Engineer to join their team in Medellin. The engineer will be responsible for providing technical and operational support on AWS-based platforms, ensuring the availability and stability of services. They will administer the AWS Organization structure, monitor security tools, and follow up on incidents and changes related to cloud infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with development and security teams to ensure the correct operation of CI/CD pipelines under DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical and operational support on AWS platforms.
  • Administering the AWS Organization structure.
  • Monitoring tools like Security Hub and AWS Config.
  • Following up on incidents, requests, and changes related to cloud infrastructure.
  • Executing infrastructure as code (IaC) maintenance tasks using Terraform.
  • Collaborating with development and security teams for CI/CD pipeline operation.
  • Documenting technical procedures, configurations, and best practices.
  • Supporting basic automation and scripting tasks for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Professional in Systems Engineering or related careers.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience providing support in cloud environments, preferably with AWS.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services and their administration.
  • Experience in operational tasks related to DevSecOps and CI/CD flows.
  • Management of AWS Organization, with experience in SCP configuration and multi-account management.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and compliance tools such as Security Hub, AWS Config, etc.
  • Experience in maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform.
  • Basic programming knowledge for automation of support tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative work skills.
  • Desirable: certifications in AWS, cloud governance or related technologies.
  • Desirable: postgraduate studies in related areas.
