Job Description
CookUnity is seeking a Creative Director to lead the development and execution of the brand identity system, visual communication, and all other visual manifestations of the brand. This role involves driving the creative direction for visual assets, brand guidelines, and packaging, ensuring the brand resonates with consumers in impactful and consistent ways. The Creative Director will lead a talented team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to produce creative solutions that capture the essence of CookUnity’s purpose and values.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and evolution of CookUnity’s brand identity.
  • Lead the creative direction and design of product packaging.
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, chef partners, and production teams.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ideate, develop, and implement bold, ambitious strategies.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, emerging design practices, and packaging innovations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of creative excellence in all deliverables.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience leading diverse global creative teams, including at least 3 years in a Creative Director role
  • Experience building and scaling an in-house creative function
  • A big-idea thinker who can articulate and sell bold creative concepts
  • Design thought leader and award-winning portfolio
  • Demonstrated strengths in creative thinking and ability to up-level insights into compelling concepts
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, confident, and relentless in pursuit of creative excellence
  • Direct experience in D2C, B2C, startups preferred; food experience is a plus
  • A background in art direction or visual design/communications
