Job Description
CookUnity is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead to join their Kitchen Tech Team. This team is responsible for building software solutions that power CookUnity's kitchen centers. The Tech Lead will contribute to the evolution of Kitchen Tech products and play a key role in R&D initiatives. This individual will work on both Android (Kotlin) and backend services (Typescript).

The role involves:
  • Contributing to and maintaining Live Production Software.
  • Designing, developing, and optimizing Android applications.
  • Building and maintaining scalable backend services.
  • Overseeing the work of the Kitchen Tech team.
  • Collaborating with various teams to translate challenges into technical solutions.
  • Participating in the Ops Engineering R&D squad.
  • Ensuring system reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience building Android applications with modern practices.
  • Understanding of micro-services architecture and distributed systems.
  • Passion for R&D and innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Willingness to go to Brooklyn office 2-3 times per week
