Job Description
CookUnity is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment in their Toronto location. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and upholding food safety standards. The Dishwasher will be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen areas.
Responsibilities:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware.
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors and work areas.
- Operating and maintaining dishwashing machines.
- Sorting and storing clean dishes and utensils.
- Assisting in trash and recycling removal.
- Assisting kitchen staff with cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Restocking cleaning supplies.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and teamwork mentality.
