Job Description
Mejuri is seeking a Piercing Lead to oversee its Piercing Studio in New York City. The Piercing Lead will be responsible for driving customer service excellence, increasing profitability, and fostering a superior store environment. They will deliver best-in-class service, possess extensive knowledge of body piercing and jewelry, and maintain the highest sanitization standards.
Role Involves:
- Overseeing the piercing customer journey from start to finish.
- Providing a calm and professional demeanor during piercing services.
- Acting as an ambassador of Mejuri and promoting brand awareness.
- Driving revenue and repeat business through the piercing studio.
- Managing all aspects of the piercing studio, working closely with the Store Services team and Store Manager.
- Maintaining health and safety standards and upholding legal compliance.
- Partnering with the Visual Lead to analyze key performance indicators and monitor stock levels.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience with needle piercing.
- Experience working with internally threaded 2-piece piercing jewellery.
- Up-to-date First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications.
- Experience working with autoclaves.
- Understanding of local market piercing law requirements.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols surrounding piercing procedures.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
- The desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
