Job Description
Mejuri, a fine jewelry brand, is seeking a Lead Piercer for their Georgetown, Washington D.C. studio. This role involves overseeing the piercing customer journey, ensuring health and safety standards, and driving awareness of the piercing studio. The Lead Piercer will work closely with the Store Manager and Store Services team to optimize the studio's operations and provide expertise in piercing jewelry and aftercare.
Role involves:
- Overseeing the piercing customer journey from start to finish.
- Managing all aspects of the piercing studio.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
- Providing expertise on piercing jewelry and aftercare.
- Building piercing appointment occupancy through promotion and education.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience with needle piercing.
- Experience working with internally threaded 2-piece piercing jewellery.
- Up-to-date First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications.
- Experience working with autoclaves.
- Knowledge of local market piercing law requirements.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
