Job Description
Mejuri is seeking a Lead Piercer to join their team in Aventura, Miami. The Lead Piercer will be the heart of the Mejuri Piercing Studio, elevating customer service, boosting profitability, and creating an environment where jewelry dreams come true. The ideal candidate will have a passion for piercing and high-quality gems, with a strong understanding of initial piercings and allowable alloys. They will also be committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and hygiene.
Role Involves:
- Overseeing the piercing customer journey from start to finish.
- Managing all aspects of the piercing studio.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
- Remaining knowledgeable on Mejuri products and the piercing jewelry assortment.
- Styling, stacking, and suggesting products for piercing clients.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience with needle piercing.
- Experience working with internally threaded 2-piece piercing jewellery.
- Up to date with First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications.
- Experience working with autoclaves.
- Understanding of local market piercing law requirements.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols surrounding piercing procedures.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
