Job Description

Mejuri, a fine jewelry brand, is seeking a Lead Piercer for their studio in Chicago. The Lead Piercer will be responsible for elevating customer service, boosting profitability, and creating a welcoming environment for clients. This role involves overseeing the piercing customer journey, managing studio operations, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the piercing customer journey from start to finish.
• Manage all aspects of the piercing studio.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Provide expertise in piercing jewelry and styling.
• Build piercing appointment occupancy.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with needle piercing.
• Experience with internally threaded 2-piece piercing jewelry.
• Up-to-date First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications.
• Experience working with autoclaves.
• Understanding of local market piercing law requirements.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
