Job Description
Mejuri, a fine jewelry brand, is seeking a Lead Piercer to join their team in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This role is part-time and focuses on elevating customer service, boosting profitability, and creating a positive environment in the piercing studio. The Lead Piercer will oversee the customer journey, maintain safety and hygiene standards, and manage the piercing studio's operations.
What this role involves:
- Overseeing the piercing customer journey from start to finish.
- Maintaining health and safety standards.
- Managing all aspects of the piercing studio.
- Styling and suggesting products for piercing clients.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of needle piercing experience.
- Experience with internally threaded 2-piece piercing jewelry.
- Up-to-date First Aid and Blood-borne Pathogens OSHA Certifications.
- Experience working with autoclaves.
- Understanding of local market piercing law requirements.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
