Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Job Description

Runwise, a climate-tech startup focused on energy efficiency, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial for developing impactful new product features and enhancing the company's operational capabilities. The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and operating the core software deployed in buildings, as well as the serverless cloud infrastructure that processes and analyzes vast amounts of data.Responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the core Golang application and AWS infrastructure.
• Improving monitoring and alerting across the ecosystem.
• Contributing to the Python application that powers climate control algorithms.
• Writing code to efficiently process billions of data points.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience writing in Golang.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer.
• Experience with AWS services like DynamoDB, SQS, AWS Lambda, EC2, and Cloudformation.
