Remote is seeking a Managing Counsel, Employment Legal to join their Legal Team. This role is an individual contributor position focused on French employment law. The candidate will provide legal support for Remote's products and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and managing risks. The role involves advising on employment law issues, collaborating cross-functionally, and contributing to the Legal Team's knowledge base. What this role involves:
  • Advising on employment law issues across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure project completion.
  • Contributing to the Legal Team's knowledge base.
  • Mastering employment law and contracts for specific regions.
  • Identifying company-wide legal issues and implementing solutions.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Qualified French lawyer.
  • Experience in advisory and contentious employment law.
  • Passion for tech products, especially HR tech.
  • Previous in-house experience in HR Tech, IT, or SAAS is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in modern business and legal tools like Slack and Notion.
  • Fluent in English and French.
