Remote is seeking a Managing Counsel, Employment Legal to join its Legal Team. This role is vital in delivering legal solutions for Remote's products and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks as the company expands globally. The position requires a qualified French lawyer with experience in employment law.

Role Involves:

  • Advising on employment law issues across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to complete projects effectively.
  • Contributing to the Legal Team's knowledge base.
  • Mastering employment law and contracts for specific regions.
  • Identifying company-wide employment law issues and implementing solutions.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified French lawyer (mandatory).
  • Experience in advisory and contentious employment law.
  • Passionate about tech (particularly HR tech) products.
  • Previous in-house experience in HR Tech, IT, or SAAS (a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Well-versed in modern business and legal tools.
  • Fluent in English and French.
