Clara, a leading spend management platform in Latin America, is seeking a Legal Lead to oversee legal matters. The role focuses on providing legal counsel, negotiating with stakeholders, and managing a team of legal professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and communication within the legal team.
  • Coordinate and manage legal projects.
  • Negotiate legal aspects and collaborate with product teams.
  • Collaborate with Country Managers and external legal experts.
  • Manage and prioritize legal issues.

Requirements:
  • Background in fintech or technology companies.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
  • Experience with SOFOM.
  • Experience with the Mexican capital market.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property, fintech, corporate, commercial, and industrial property law.
  • Familiarity with litigation processes.
  • Tolerance for conflict and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and Portuguese is a plus.
