Job Description

DEPT® is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join its Experience & Engineering team in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen, project management expertise, and leadership skills to oversee complex online platform projects for clients such as Gant, Inter Milan, bol.com, and Just Eat Takeaway.

The Senior Technical Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating their needs into actionable plans and ensuring project success. They will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment where team members can excel and grow professionally.

Role Involves:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for clients, building trust through effective communication.
  • Acting as a key conversational partner for clients on tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
  • Facilitating an environment where team members have the resources to excel and achieve targets.
  • Evaluating team member development and creating personal growth plans.
  • Serving as a sparring partner for team members to ensure the quality of work.
  • Managing complex online platforms and 3rd parties.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager (or similar role) at an agency.
  • Leadership experience and a willingness to lead people.
  • Experience delivering complex online platforms within client IT landscapes and managing third parties.
  • Proven team-building skills.
  • Understanding of the technology behind online solutions and the ability to communicate with designers and developers.
  • Experience working with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with a results-oriented approach.
