Job Description

DEPT® is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to join their People Team in The Netherlands. The company is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. The People Team works together to create the best workplace in the industry, emphasizing open communication, clear expectations, and professional development.

The Senior People Business Partner will be a strategic sparring partner for the leadership team, driving DEPT®’s vision on people-related topics. This role involves leading strategic HR projects, analyzing organizational challenges, identifying market trends, and leading talent development and succession planning. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a strategic HR role, deep knowledge of Dutch labor law, and excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Role involves:

  • Acting as a strategic sparring partner for the leadership team.
  • Taking ownership of strategic HR projects.
  • Analyzing and advising on complex organizational and personnel challenges.
  • Identifying market trends and HR best practices.
  • Leading talent development and succession planning.
  • Coaching and mentoring a People Generalist.

Requirements:

  • Senior HR Business Partner experience in a strategic HR role.
  • Strong advisory skills and experience guiding senior leadership teams.
  • Deep knowledge of Dutch labor law.
  • A data-driven mindset.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and a strong stakeholder manager.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Availability to work in Amsterdam and Rotterdam weekly.
