Job Description
Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Backend Software Engineer to work on Loki Query within the Databases team. This role involves influencing the roadmap, delivering new features, driving projects from ideation to operation, contributing to open-source projects, and maintaining critical systems. The engineer will also participate in on-call rotations, mentor team members, and learn new skills related to Grafana Cloud.Role involves:
  • Influencing roadmap and career objectives

  • Designing, building, operating, and maintaining critical systems

Requirements:
  • Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred)
  • Experience delivering projects from requirements to shipping
  • Experience developing software in the Cloud or systems engineering
  • Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software
