Job Description
Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Databases team, focusing on Loki Query. This remote role, available in the UK, Germany, Spain, and Sweden, involves working on Grafana Cloud, a composable observability platform. The Databases team manages telemetry databases like Mimir, Loki, and Tempo, offering them as cloud services and on-premise solutions. The engineer will contribute to open-source projects, design and maintain critical systems, and mentor team members.Role involves:
  • Influencing the roadmap and career objectives
  • Delivering new features and iterating based on results
  • Driving projects from ideation to operation
  • Contributing to open-source projects
  • Designing, building, and maintaining critical systems
  • Participating in on-call rotations
  • Mentoring and supporting team members
Requirements:
  • Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred)
  • Experience delivering projects from requirements to shipping
  • Experience developing software in the Cloud or systems engineering
  • Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software
