Job Description
Showpad is seeking a Backend Engineer to drive innovation and optimize the existing codebase. The engineer will have autonomy and ownership over their work, ensuring well-architected code functionality, test automation, scalability, and monitoring. The role involves collaborating with a team of software engineers to build, extend, and maintain the Showpad platform.

Role involves:
  • Overseeing and directing projects from scoping to release
  • Contributing to engineering and product strategy
  • Solving complex problems and building performant, scalable services
  • Collaborating with product and design teams
  • Designing and implementing architecture for new features
  • Maintaining the team's products

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer
  • Experience with Typescript, Golang, PHP, or JVM languages (Kotlin, Scala)
  • Experience in cloud computing
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Understanding of software testing and test-driven development
  • Continuous integration and delivery mindset
  • Curiosity to learn more
