Job Description
Showpad is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Cloud Operations, Security Operations, the Internal Developer Platform, and the Data Platform. This role is based in Bucharest and reports to the Director of Engineering. The Senior Engineering Manager will play a key role in Showpad's expansion into Romania, optimizing platform security and scalability, and streamlining processes for engineering teams.

Role Involves:
  • Defining the engineering vision.
  • Establishing "golden paths" for software development.
  • Utilizing data for continuous improvement.
  • Attracting, hiring, and developing top software engineering talent.
  • Building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Defining and prioritizing engineering projects.
  • Leading execution of complex technical projects.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering and engineering leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and coach engineers.
  • Passion for building a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Experience recruiting and managing talent in an international setting.
