Taskrabbit is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead their Payments & Risk Platform team. This role is crucial for driving predictable delivery, enhancing quality, and establishing strong leadership within the company's global payments and risk infrastructure. The Senior Engineering Manager will partner with the Staff Product Manager and key stakeholders to build a reliable, secure, and scalable platform.Taskrabbit is a remote-first company with employees distributed across the US and EU. This role will be fully remote through August 2025 with the expectation that employees will begin working 2 days per week in their dedicated office space in San Francisco starting in September of 2025.What this role involves:- Driving predictable delivery and quality.
- Providing strategic engineering leadership and project management.

- Proven track record of improving delivery velocity and quality.
- Strong expertise in stakeholder management and communication.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, fraud detection, and risk management principles.
- Deep understanding of modern software development practices and technologies.
