BigID, an innovative tech startup specializing in data security, compliance, privacy, and AI data management, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive deals in the Chicago market. This role involves identifying, developing, and executing account strategies to close new business and drive expansion growth. The ideal candidate will have experience selling enterprise data or security products to complex technical audiences.
- Identifying, developing, and executing comprehensive account strategies.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts.
- Networking with customers and related organizations.
- Establishing and maintaining positive business relationships with key executives.
- Maintaining accurate account intelligence in Salesforce.
- Reporting on sales activity and forecasts to senior management.
- Managing a territory quota and named accounts.
- Directing an inside sales team and marketing to uncover opportunities.
- 5-10+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software.
- Proven track record of closing six and seven figure software licensing deals.
- Measurable track record in new business development and overachieving sales targets.
- Prior experience selling data security.
- Experience selling complex enterprise software solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
