Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Glean is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of its cloud-based services and applications. The engineer will collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure.Role involves:

• Driving technical excellence and fostering a culture of reliability.
• Implementing and maintaining resilient cloud architectures.
• Participating in incident management and optimizing the on-call process.
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools.
• Optimizing cloud infrastructure and applications for performance.
• Collaborating with security engineers to ensure compliance.
• Designing and configuring advanced monitoring systems.
• Participating in system design reviews and providing SRE insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with software development.
• 2+ years of experience managing people or teams.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Understanding of networking, security principles, and SRE practices.
• Proficiency in using monitoring and alerting tools.
