Job Description

The Software Engineer will be responsible for owning and launching user-facing features, collaborating with product managers and designers to balance engineering constraints with requirements. This role involves developing ideas, architecting REST APIs, writing robust code, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing greenfield features from inception to launch.
  • Collaborating with designers, product managers, data scientists, and other engineers.
  • Architecting REST APIs backed by scalable server-side implementations.
  • Writing efficient, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in computer science or related degree.
  • Experience building and shipping scalable backend features.
  • Thriving in a customer-focused, cross-functional environment.
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
  • User-centric mentality.
  • Experience building scalable backend systems.
  • Experience with REST APIs (OpenAPI is a plus).
  • Experience building distributed CRUD functionality (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Comfortable with Golang and Java.
