Job Description
Glean is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Bangalore. Glean's mission is to bring people the knowledge they need to make a difference in the world. They were founded by a team of former Google search and Facebook engineers, who wanted to create an easier way to find what people need at work. Glean searches across a company’s apps to help users find exactly what they need and discover things they should know. The company is backed by leading venture capitalists and has a world-class team with experience at Google, Slack, Facebook, and more.
Role involves:
- Generating new business leads to fuel the sales pipeline.
- Collaborating with other BDRs and AEs.
- Driving net new business meetings by creating and executing targeted campaigns.
- Creating and prioritizing strategic target account lists.
- Researching and building new and existing accounts.
- Data clean-up and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as BDR preferably in a SaaS company
- APAC market experience preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Experience working with prospecting tools like Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, LeadIQ etc
- Proficient in cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn outreach campaigns
- Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to understand business requirements and organizational structure
- Excellent time management/organizational skills
- Track record of success in a performance and metrics driven role
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Basic knowledge of workplace SaaS software a plus
