Job Description
Glean is seeking a dynamic Sales Development Manager to establish and lead their Bangalore-based team. This role involves building a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) from the ground up, shaping business development processes, and driving pipeline generation. The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, and mentoring SDRs, as well as developing and implementing strategic growth plans. They will also collaborate with GTM leadership to refine messaging and optimize inbound lead conversion.
- Leading a team of SDRs to generate pipeline and create qualified opportunities.
- Recruiting, coaching, and mentoring SDRs through shadowing, role plays, and process improvement.
- Building repeatable training for the SDR team in sales skills and product/industry understanding.
- Consulting with Glean’s GTM leadership to build and execute on a strategic growth plan.
- Leveraging creative marketing and sales tactics to help the global SDR team prospect and engage with multiple buyer personas.
- Defining, managing, and optimizing KPIs and metrics for the SDR team.
Requirements: - 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience as an individual contributor.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading sales development teams.
- Startup and SaaS experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.
- Validated experience in building and scaling an SDR or BDR team.
