Glean is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team in Palo Alto, CA. Glean's mission is to make knowledge work faster and more humane, believing that AI will fundamentally transform how people work. The company is building a system of intelligence for every company in the world, connecting AI and knowledge to provide industry-leading search relevance and connect it to generative AI agents and applications.As a Sales Development Representative, the individual will partner closely with Account Executives to find and engage new prospects that would be a great fit for Glean. The goal is to generate qualified sales opportunities that will contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
What this role involves: - Generating new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities.
- Partnering with Account Executives to identify and source net new pipeline.
- Identifying key decision makers within new large enterprise and strategic accounts.
- Gaining interest from prospective customers through channels such as outbound cold calling and emails.
- Running qualification calls with potential clients.
- Demonstrating attentive listening skills when understanding customer requirements.
- Consistently meeting established quota targets.
- Working with the Marketing team to provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns.
- Representing Glean at strategic marketing events and trade shows.
- Developing critical sales skills.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university.
- Team-centric mindset and demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to identify potential customer opportunities.
- Passion and curiosity around technology with an excitement to comprehend and articulate value points to customers.
