Solutions Engineer, SLED

Job Description

Glean is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team and contribute to their mission of making knowledge work faster and more humane. The Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Executives to navigate complex deal cycles, build relationships with key decision-makers in the public sector, and create custom demo environments. They will also lead technical POC cycles, conduct technical discovery calls, and address security concerns. • Partnering with Account Executives
• Building relationships with key decision-makers
• Creating and demoing custom environments
• Managing technical POC cycles
• Leading security conversations
• Working cross-functionally with product and engineering
• Developing ROI and business justification reports

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting experience in a SaaS organization
• Experience in the public sector, specifically in the state, Local and educational markets
• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Consultative approach to solving customer business challenges
• Familiarity with any cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Proficiency in Python or Java
• Ability to configure, monitor and maintain API based integrations
