Job Description
Wellhub, formerly Gympass, is seeking a Mid-Level Back-end Software Engineer to join their Tagus Clients Team in Brazil. The Tagus Clients team is responsible for building and maintaining the core systems that manage clients and commercial conditions, ensuring data consistency across the Wellhub ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable and high-performing web applications and be proficient in programming languages such as Go, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python. Familiarity with Golang is a plus. They should also have experience developing RESTful web services and working with cloud-based architectures.
Role Involves:
- Developing, delivering, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving solutions in a cross-functional team.
- Writing maintainable code and tests.
- Participating in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment.
- Supporting existing systems to enhance functionality and increase scale.
Requirements:
- Experience building scalable and high-performing web applications.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Go, Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Python).
- Experience developing modern web applications and working with cloud-based architectures.
- Solid understanding of developing RESTful web services.
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
