Wellhub is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join its Check-in & Booking team in Brazil. The company is a corporate wellness platform connecting employees to fitness, mindfulness, and more.

The Senior Backend Software Engineer will be responsible for shaping the future of Wellhub's product. He will architect, build, and deploy high-quality solutions, driving impactful improvements in a fast-paced agile setting. The candidate will lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and ensure code excellence through thorough reviews. He will champion data-driven decisions, prioritize simplicity, and bring innovative ideas to life.

The role involves:

• Architecting, building, and deploying high-quality solutions

• Participating in architectural decisions
• Taking part in incident resolution and troubleshooting
• Interacting with the product team and stakeholders

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience in designing and developing modern web applications
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java / Kotlin / Scala)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers
• Experience with microservices and high-volume distributed systems
• Experience with Cloud-based architectures in AWS
• Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese
