US Interest Rate Trader

Geneva Trading is seeking an experienced US Interest Rate Trader to enhance their interest rate trading desk in Chicago. The role involves developing and modeling new trades and strategies within the US interest rate market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of macroeconomic drivers, monetary policy, and key reference rates.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing new trades and strategies in the US interest rate space
• Managing and optimizing existing portfolios within current risk parameters
• Collaborating with team members to model key events and drivers for interest rates
• Adding expertise to foster desk growth

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable success in an interest rate trading or advisory role
• Deep knowledge of the fundamental drivers of the fixed income space
• Proven proficiency in designing and executing trading strategies
• Professional poise and excellent interpersonal communication skills
