Job Description
Zscaler is seeking an Architect Site Reliability Engineer to join their SRE Platform and Tooling team. This role involves developing scalable, secure, and resilient SRE platform and tooling solutions to enhance reliability and performance across cloud, on-prem, and private cloud environments. The Architect SRE will report to the Director of Software Engineering and will be responsible for deploying observability tools and leading automation efforts.

Role involves:
  • Developing scalable, secure, and resilient SRE platform and tooling solutions
  • Deploying observability tools to improve system visibility and reduce MTTD/MTTR
  • Leading automation efforts in self-healing, CI/CD, configuration, drift, and infrastructure

Requirements:
  • 14+ years in software development across Cloud-SRE, DevOps, and System Engineering
  • Expertise in AIOps, AI/ML for operational efficiency and scalability
  • Proficient in observability tools and skilled in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices architectures
  • Proficient in programming and scripting with Java, Python, Go, or similar languages
  • Skilled in OpenStack for private cloud, Kafka, RabbitMQ, event-driven architectures, and ServiceNow Platform
