Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

Zscaler is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join its Unified API platform team. The engineer will report to the Director and will be responsible for leading the identification and resolution of performance issues by developing advanced AI/ML models. They will also maintain and refine predictive models to forecast user behavior and system performance.

The role involves:

• Leading identification and resolution of performance issues
• Developing advanced AI/ML models
• Maintaining and refining predictive models
• Implementing advanced AI/ML algorithms
• Overseeing the lifecycle of ML projects
• Designing and creating compelling visualizations

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional experience in data science or a related role
• Proficiency with data science tools and platforms such as Python, R, TensorFlow, SQL, and related libraries and frameworks
• Strong experience with networking and end-point observability systems
• Expertise in multi-dimensional anomaly detection algorithms
• Strong experience in building and deploying ML models in production environments
