Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

Job Description

Zscaler is seeking a Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (Federal) to lead their ZPA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operational health of Federal cloud products, improve scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud infrastructure, oversee automated management of AWS and private cloud environments, establish documentation, incident prevention processes, and collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams.

Role involves:
• Leading and mentoring a team of SREs
• Defining strategies to improve scalability, reliability, and performance
• Overseeing automated management of AWS and private cloud environments
• Establishing documentation and incident prevention processes
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams

Requirements:
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years of managerial or team leadership experience
• Deep understanding of FedRAMP authorization levels
• Proficiency in Linux administration and infrastructure automation tools
• Strong expertise in container-based architectures, cloud services, and networking protocols
• U.S. citizenship
• Secret Security Clearance that you must maintain throughout employment
• An Information Assurance Technician Level 2 Certification is also required, but you can obtain this certification within your first few weeks of employment
