Staff Data Science Engineer

Zscaler is seeking a Staff Data Science Engineer to join their Cyber Security and Data Protection Team. The engineer will build quality products that secure mobile devices, applications, and data. Role Involves:

• Designing and developing software for scalable distributed systems to provide network security
• Participating in all phases of the product development cycle
• Developing software for machine learning based content categorization systems
• Developing data security and data leak prevention software solutions
• Working on the development of high-performance, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems
• Using algorithms and data structures to develop optimal solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience programming in C/C++ and Python
• Knowledge of data structures, runtime complexities, IPC, FreeBSD/Linux, and RPC
• 5+ years of experience building and scaling Machine Learning (ML) models
• Experience with machine learning or deep learning related toolset/frameworks, such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX
• Familiarity with networking and networking security (Preferred)
• Hands-on experience with popular public cloud services infrastructure offerings such as AWS, GCP, Azure and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and event messaging such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc (Preferred)
