Job Description
Zscaler is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join its IT Strategy & Planning team. This role is based in San Jose, California, and requires a hybrid work arrangement of 3 days per week in the office. The Senior Technical Program Manager will report to the Manager of Program Management and will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects related to Infrastructure and Operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with key business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and alignment of technology initiatives. They will also facilitate effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams, track performance against commitments, and manage issues and risks to ensure project timelines and objectives are met. The Senior Technical Program Manager will create project documentation, including executive-level communications, dashboards, project plans, and status reports, keeping stakeholders informed about project progress, milestones, and potential risks. They should be adept at building strong working relationships and quickly establishing credibility across the organization, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of complex technical projects related to Infrastructure and Operations
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination with key stakeholders, cross-functional teams
  • Create project documentation, including executive level communications, dashboards, project plans and status reports
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager
  • Strong focus on infrastructure, operations and security
  • Understanding of infrastructure technologies, zero trust architecture, cloud platforms, networking and security
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time and within scope
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, PMI, Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Jira
