Vimeo is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Enterprise Solutions Group in Tel Aviv. The role involves collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build and enhance interactive features on the Vimeo platform. The engineer will design and develop new features, ensuring high standards of performance and scalability. They will also write clean code, participate in code reviews, and research new technologies.
This is a newly formed team that will focus on innovative solutions that drive growth and user engagement across various aspects of our product.
What this role involves:
- Collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers
- Designing and developing new features and enhancements
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
- Researching and exploring new technologies
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer
- 2+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Go, Java or Node.js
- Experience with React
- Strong understanding of web development best practices
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development
