Vimeo is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join its AI Applications team in Tel Aviv. This role involves developing and maintaining Vimeo's AI-based user experiences, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to integrate AI tools and capabilities into the Vimeo platform. The ideal candidate will contribute to shaping how these technologies impact Vimeo customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design, front-end, and ML engineers to develop new features.
- Build scalable services and applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance.
- Work in a cross-functional team for seamless integration.
- Identify opportunities to improve architecture and tooling.
- Research new technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical experience on consumer-facing products.
- Experience developing services at scale with Python or Go.
- Experience with microservices, databases, and APIs.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Great communication skills.
