Sr. Product & Privacy Counsel

Twitch is seeking a Sr. Product & Privacy Counsel to join its legal team. This role involves advising on legal issues across the company, with a focus on privacy, security, and artificial intelligence/machine learning. The candidate will work on policies, compliance measures, and collaborate with various teams to mitigate legal risks.

Role involves:

• Advising on laws and regulations related to privacy, data security, AI/ML, and advertising.
• Reviewing products and features to ensure compliance with legal obligations.
• Drafting and managing consumer disclosures, FAQs, terms of use, and privacy notices.
• Developing strategies for potential disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters.
• Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, Privacy, Security, Policy and Customer Trust.

Requirements:

• J.D. Degree and admission to the bar.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in technology-related issues.
• Experience with US and international privacy/data protection laws.
• Comfort with technology and internet services.
